Meet your therapist
Hi, I’m Kathryn. I believe healing should feel human.
A trauma-informed, EMDR-trained therapist in Uptown Dallas, working with teens, young adults, and parents who are ready to understand themselves more deeply and feel more like themselves again.

My story
I’ve been on the other side of the couch, and it changed everything.
Growing up in a family affected by addiction, I saw firsthand the impact it can have, not only on the individual, but on everyone who loves them. Because of those experiences, I sought counseling at various points in my own life. I know the fear, shame, and guilt that come with trauma, and I know how hard it can be to heal.
But through therapy, I found my voice again. The growth that followed is why I believe in this work so deeply, and why I want my office to be a place where you can be fully yourself and say the things you’ve never been able to say out loud.
My philosophy
I take a holistic approach that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit, whatever that looks like for you.
Together, we’ll look at how your past shapes the way you feel and act today, while staying grounded in what you’re facing right now. We’ll sort out which of your patterns are working for you and which ones aren’t. From there, we’ll make real changes: the kind you can carry into whatever comes next.
Why work with me
Empathy earned the hard way
I’ve lived a lot of life in a short time, and been through enough hard things to truly understand my clients. I may not have lived your exact experience, but I know the pain life can cause, and I respect the courage it takes to face it.
Your first session
No pressure, just a conversation
Our first session is about getting to know you, and giving you the chance to ask me anything. There’s no script and nothing you need to prepare. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable, and you’ll leave with a clear sense of what working together would look like.
Beyond the therapy room
Rural roots, a strong work ethic, and a love for the outdoors.
I grew up in a more rural community with a huge passion for agriculture, raising livestock and competing in FFA. I went on to Texas A&M University for a degree in Animal Science. Those years taught me life lessons and a work ethic I’m grateful for to this day.
I love nature and just about anything outdoors, hiking and fishing especially. Around Dallas, you’ll usually find me at Pilates, reading, or trying out a new coffee shop.
