My approach
A place to put yourself first.
When someone you love struggles with addiction, so much of your energy goes to them. In our work, the focus is you. I offer support as you learn to set internal and external boundaries, psychoeducation about how addiction works, and steady validation for the impact it has had on you.
Having grown up in a family affected by addiction myself, I understand the fear, shame, guilt, and confusion that come with it. I hold deep respect for the courage it takes to tend to your own healing.
